Appointed Parent Committee Members
Mr J Fell
"I'm really happy about being appointed to the Local Committee in what promises to be an exciting few years as the school develops. My background is in consulting and I will be using my experience in problem solving from a non-education background to challenge us a committee and ensure that collectively we're delivering the best education and learning environment for the children. I currently have two daughters at the school, with third that will hopefully join in the next few years."

"I joined the Local Committee in September 2020 and I am very much looking forward to working the Local Committee. I am committed to education being the very best for each individual child and as a parent to two teenage boys I know how important this is. I consider my background as a litigation lawyer means that I am prone to asking questions and seeking the best solutions. I look forward to visiting Hatchlands when Covid-19 permits!"
"I have lived in the area all my adult life. My three children attended schools in Reigate and now three of my grandchildren attend schools in the Borough. Having retired from a career in property law, I was keen to play a part in the local community and apply myself in a different environment to the benefit, I hope, of others. I joined the Committee at the start of the Covid pandemic and I have been so impressed by the hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and kindness of everyone involved with Hatchlands. The school really does have the children at its heart. I look forward to playing my part in its development."
"In the 2 years our son has been at Hatchlands, we have been impressed by the professionalism, flexibility and enthusiasm of everyone at Hatchlands, particularly given the challenges of setting up a new school during Covid. I wanted to join the Local Committee to try to make a positive contribution to the school, and also to have an opportunity to give back to the local area. Given the opening of the new school building this year, I’m sure it will be a very interesting time!
I’m really looking forward to learning more about Hatchlands, the Everychild Trust, visiting the school when appropriate; speaking to and getting to know the teachers, the other Local Committee Members and the Hatchlands community."
Elected Staff Committee Member
Mrs J Willard
"I am currently one of the Year One teachers here at Hatchlands, and have been here since the school opened in September 2018. It has been really exciting to help design the curriculum, ethos and values of the school, and I look forward to welcoming new families and staff members as we grow."
