Following the revised guidance from yesterday's Covid-19 update, particularly around avoiding non-essential contact, we are taking some additional measures to try and support the community in containing this outbreak.
This has been cancelled. We are planning on rescheduling our parent consultations for next week as a phone conversation and are just investigating the logistics of how to coordinate this. We will update you further on the process of booking these phone consultations as soon as possible.
Volunteers in school:
We have taken the decision to reduce the number of people coming into school to work with our children. Therefore we have decided to not have any parent volunteers in school for the foreseeable future.
Yesterday's briefing has seen a change in the guidance for self-isolation. If a member of your household is presenting with any of the potential symptoms of Covid-19 (a new, continuous cough or a temperature of 37.8 degrees or above) then all members of your household must self-isolate for a period of 14 days. We would therefore ask that any families that have started a period of self-isolation keep their children off school for that 14 day period. Please also note that once you have called the school office on the first day of self-isolation that you do not need to call in every day to notify us of your child's continued absence.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding during these unusual times. Please rest assured that we are doing everything necessary to follow the national guidance and will continue torespond to any changes and developments that occur. We will continue to update you on any information or advice that we receive. Please do contact me if youhave any questions and I will do my best to answer these.
