We know that families across the country are feeling the impact of increasing cost of living and the pressure of this on household budgets.

 

Below are links to organisations in in Surrey that can help, please also speak us at school if you need help -  we are always happy to offer support wherever we can.

 

Free School Meals

All infant pupils are entitled to free school meals and children in year 3 and above may also be eligible if their parents receive a qualifying benefit;

School Uniform

We hold nearly new uniform sales here at at school, look out for more information  in the school  newsletter.

Speak to the school office, we may able to help with supplying jumpers/cardigans

Tax Free Childcare

Up to £2.000 a year is available to help lower child care costs, check the website to find out if you are eligible;

Funded Early Education for Two Year Olds

Eligible families can receive up to 15 hours of funded early education/childcare for 38 weeks of the year.

Warm Hubs

Warm hubs are places in the community where people can enjoy a safe and warm environment. Our local warm hubs are as follows;

Banstead Community Centre

Address: The Horseshoe, Bolters Lane, Banstead Village, SM7 2BQ

Opening times:  Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Holy Trinity Church, Redhill

Address: Carlton Road, Redhill, RH1 2BX

Opening times: Monday from 10.30am to 12pm

Free Period Products

In partnership with the charity Bint International, free period products are available in selected locations;

There will be collection boxes where residents can help themselves to pads if needed, in selected libraries across Surrey, including: Banstead, Dorking,  Godalming, Guildford, Horley,  Leatherhead, Merstham,  Redhill and Reigate, 

There will also be collection boxes available in Surrey County Council buildings at Consort House Redhill,  and Woodhatch Place Reigate .

Look out for the Binti stickers in libraries that show free pads are provided in that location. There is no need to ask - simply go to the collection box and help yourself.
